INDIVIDUAL SUBMISSION
What is an Individual Submission?
An individual submission is a collection of assorted photographs or poems. An individual submission contains up to five pieces. Please send either photographs or poems in one individual submission. If you wish to submit both photos and poems that are unrelated pieces, make two submissions. Initially, photographs and poems are reviewed by different specialist editors.
We judge individual submissions for technical artistry and creativity. In addition, we select from work we would like to publish images and writings that will work together to create the journal's organic narratives. If your individual submission contains five excellent pieces, we might offer to publish all of them. Or, we may only choose one. If you work is not chosen for the current issue, please do not be dissuaded from submitting again to another thematic issue related to your pieces.
FOR PHOTOGRAPHY SUBMISSIONS
Requirements
Black and White photography is preferred, but color may be considered. Images must be a minimum of 10" at the longest side with a resolution of 300dpi in JPEG format. Images sent that do not meet these requirements cannot be considered.
Submission
Step 1. Prepare a brief biographical statement
Step 2. Create a single compressed .zip file which includes 1-5 individual photographs. Title your file:
INDIV_LAST NAME_FIRST NAME.zip
Step 3. Fill out the submission form below and attach your file to the form

FOR POETRY SUBMISSIONS
Requirements
Please be sure each poem is no longer than 40 lines and fits within a single printed page. Consider whether all your poems respond to the issue's theme.
Submission
Step 1. Prepare a brief biographical statement
Step 2. Create a text document (.doc, .docx, .wpd, .rtf, or .txt) which includes 1-5 poems
(one page per poem please)
Please include your name and contact information on every page and title your file:
INDIV_LAST NAME_FIRST NAME.txt
